Tired of traveling with young children and having to worry about food, accommodation and transportation by many means, more than a year ago, Doan Nguyen Duy Tan (28 years old) and Nguyen Ha My (27 years old) decided to do it together.

Ha My family’s car was renovated at a total cost of 220 million VND.

With the money saved after many years of work, they bought an old 16-seat Ford Transit 2005 for 120 million VND, then completed the procedure to convert it into a 3-seat car and re-register it according to regulations.

Ms. My said that all stages of designing and renovating the car were done by her and her husband, and they learned how to do it online.

When my son just turned 8 months old, family trips were also taken.

During her time at home, Ms. My noticed that her child easily got sick, completely different from the days when she traveled and went out for activities.

During the journey, the family of three said no to resting at hotels or resorts but stayed entirely in the car, in mountainous areas, hills or forests but still prioritized safety.

Since having a `mobile home`, family trips have become freer and more economical than ever, no longer worrying about where to eat or where to stay.

Ms. My said that their decision to travel across Vietnam was partly due to their passion for traveling and exploring the country’s beautiful scenery;

Previously in 2016, My and Tan gave up their fixed jobs with a total monthly income of about 30 million VND in Ho Chi Minh City, to return to Dak Lak to build a garden house, grow vegetables and raise up to 20 pet dogs.

`Many people want to have a stable life, make a lot of money, but for us it’s different, we just need enough to live, not too many things. What we need most is to experience everything together and enjoy it.`
